Testo: Libre Baskerville, corpo 11
Note: Libre Baskerville, corpo 9
T. Torino, 5.5.2025 n.2181; C.A. Bari, 22.3.2023 n.436;
Quindi:
GdP: Giudice di Pace
T.: Tribunale
C.A.: Corte d’Appello
Cass.: Cassazione
C. cost.: Corte costituzionale
10/2022, in Giustizia, 2021, 178 ss.

STYLE GUIDELINES:
To ensure consistency in presentation, please follow this brief guide.
Main text: Libre Baskerville, size 11
Footnotes: Libre Baskerville, size 9
The main text and footnotes must be ‘justified’.
The contribution must include the author’s first name, surname, professional title (and any academic titles), an abstract of no more than ten lines (Italian/English), and a table of contents (Italian/English).
When citing an author’s opinion within the text of the contribution, the reference should be given as follows, for example:
G. ROSSI, 2022, 124.
If the footnote refers to several authors, the citation should be written as follows, for example:
M. BOVE, 2014, 304; E. OCCHIPINTI, 2012, 994,
If the note refers to two different works by the same author:
D. DALFINO, 2019, I, 3261; ID., 2016, 84 ff., where the most recent work is cited first.
If the contribution mentioned appears in an anthology, the format is as follows:
C.L. PERAGO, ‘New developments in assisted negotiation’, in D. DALFINO (ed.), The new ‘complementary justice’, Milan, 2024, pp. 346 ff.
We do not need to cite the publisher, but only the place of publication and, of course, the year.
In the footnote, the reference should be given as follows, for example:
G. ROSSI, 2022, 124.
To make an example, judicial decisions must be cited as follows:
T. Turin, 5 May 2025, No. 2181; C.A. Bari, 22 March 2023, No. 436;
Therefore:
GdP: Justice of the Peace
T.: Court
C.A.: Court of Appeal
Cass.: Court of Cassation
Const. Ct.: Constitutional Court
The section of the court is not specified.
Only in the case of an Order is it indicated as follows:
Court of Taranto, Order of 16 April 2015,
Legislative sources:
L.: Act
d.l.: decree-law
d.lg.: legislative decree
D.p.r.: Presidential Decree
Other:
art.: article
co.: paragraph
n.: number
Journals must be cited in full: e.g.
F. ESPOSITO, ‘Opposition to an order for payment: the burden of initiating mediation lies with the opposing creditor’, in GiustiziaCivile.com, 2021.
R. SANTAGATA, ‘On the lawyer’s duty to inform clients about access to mediation (initial notes)’, in Giustizia civile 2011, 12, 549 et seq.
The bibliography is listed in full only at the end of the article and in alphabetical order, for example:
M. ELIA, Origini e funzione del diritto, Turin, 1972.
F. ESPOSITO, Opposition to an order for payment: the burden of initiating mediation lies with the opposing creditor, in GiustiziaCivile.com, 2021.
G. RUSSO, ‘Legal aid at the State’s expense and compulsory mediation: an additional burden or a cost saving?’, note on Constitutional Court Decision 10/2022, in *Giustizia*, 2021, 178 ff.
When citing multiple works by the same author in the bibliography, they are listed from the most recent to the oldest; to avoid repeating the author’s name, ‘ID.’ is used,
Example:
A. SANTI, ‘Opportunities, strategies and precautions regarding the new model of civil and commercial mediation’, in *Le Società*, 2014, 115.
ID., ‘Art. 8’, in M. BOVE (ed.), *Mediation for the settlement of civil and commercial disputes*, Padua, 2011, 241.
When the cited contribution appears only in an online journal or on a website, it should be cited as follows, for example:
M. ZANUSSI, P.G. AVVISATI, ‘Justified reasons for a party’s absence from mediation’, www.cfnews.it/diritto/giustificati-motivi-dell-assenza-della-partealla-mediazione, 2024.
